THE PERFECT PAIRING

Craft beer and picturesque cycling routes.

Gears + Beers is a unique festival combining our two loves – cycling & craft beer. The festival is held on 2 + 3 October 2021 (NSW October long weekend).

The weekend offers a combination of rides catering for all age groups, distances, energy levels and cycling levels. All roads lead to the craft beer festival.

Our flagship ride is the Dirty130. 130km of road, gravel, farms, golden couches, dead camel lane (if you don’t know, you will!) and more gravel. It’s a slog, but totally worth it.

The event is run by the Rotary Club of Wollundry Wagga Wagga with all proceeds going to charity.

The ride is capped at 1000 riders, and sells out fast. FOMO already? You totally should, unless you have your ticket.

Our post-ride craft beer festival is a vibe on it’s own, and is the ultimate finish to a morning ride.  We time our rides so most people should arrive will arrive around lunch time with the music pumping and beer flowing.  You can expect a smashing line-up of hand-crafted beers and ciders, outstanding locally roasted coffee, great local food and live entertainment.

This year, festival entry for the non-rider is a little different.

Due to current NSW COVID regs, we’re capped at 3,000 people in the festival. This includes riders, your cheer squad and those just coming for a beer. We still want you to be able to bring the fam (that’s part of the vibe), but if you do – you must register non-riders online and secure a ticket for them – if they want to enter the festival. Even better, register them for the 10km ride along the river (includes festival entry in ticket price).
As usual all registered riders get the festival entry included in their entry.
