In this exclusive one-off evening, Alanna’s Esmay will share Bar Liberty’s kitchen in celebration of liberty, quality, fraternity – and deliver you multiple courses of delicious cuisine, served with matched beverages curated by the award-winning drink mavericks of Bar Liberty.
Esmay has been touring the country with Good Food Month and has sold out every single event. This will be her fourth pop-up, and Alanna can’t wait to see what local produce is exciting Melbourne and the crew at Bar Liberty right now. Alanna originally trained at Noosa’s celebrated The River House, then worked in the kitchens of Italy and Japan.
She then went to Sydney where she became Head Chef of hatted restaurant, Saint Peter (winner of The Good Food Guide’s New Restaurant of the Year, 2018). She broke Sydney’s heart by returning to Brisbane, where she opened ARC Dining – scooping up a chef’s hat within her first year of trading. Her secret? Explore the territory of where she lands, unearth what’s local and showcase seasonal treasures from nearby farms and waters.
