A gathering of salt of the earth folk.
Music for the soul and the good company of friends.
Commonly known as an old fashioned “good time”.
This Winter Solstice we will take over the historic main street of Tocumwal – featuring an array of Australia’s best live artists, entertainers, food trucks and workshops. Witness the first-ever Riverina Lantern Parade. All entertainment is family friendly, free or donation based to raise funds for local community groups.
THE RIVERINA LANTERN PARADE
A parade of lanterns along the historic main street of Tocumwal and down to the riverbank light up the darkest night of the year. Crafted in collaboration with local schools, a glowing cockatoo will ascend amidst a myriad of stars to echo the night sky above.
THE SPEAKEASY
Let us take you back to a time when temperance reigned and “good times” were to be spoken of softly. Hidden in the historic Tocumwal Memorial Hall is a prohibition era “blind tiger”, a place for everyday folk and strong drinks to marinate to the soundtrack of piano music.
FOOD TRUCKS GALORE
It wouldn’t be a good time without some good eating. In addition to the delicious fare of Tocumwal’s fine eateries, we welcome the Bluebonnet BBQ (the rib & brisket slanging kings of Melbourne) and Nem Nem (Vietnamese street food wizards).
