One of Adelaide’s most beloved events, The Royal Adelaide Show, is back a triumphant come back this year after coming to a grinding halt, much like most events, in September of last year.

Planning is well underway for this year’s highly anticipated event and as one of South Australia’s largest, longest-running events this year the Show gates will open on Saturday 4 September for nine days of fun and entertainment, including two full weekends to give those nine to fivers to have a chance to go.

Excitement for this year is building, following the Show’s cancellation in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic making it only the fifth cancellation of the event in its 181-year history, seeing past cancellations due to WWI and WWII, along with the Victorian Gold Rush in 1852 and the 1919 Spanish Flu pandemic.
