The Queen’s Birthday Weekend is normally a time when our whole region combines under the Wines of the King Valley banner and runs a regional event, Weekend Fit For A King.

Last year, in 2020, we were unable to do this with the COVID-19 travel and event restrictions.

This year, in 2021, we are taking a cautious approach and easing back into it by encouraging all of our wineries to run their own experiences over the weekend.

There will be no formal region-wide ticket with a wine glass to use everywhere.

The concept of our visitors using one glass, while traveling across the entire region raises too many health concerns to make it worth considering at this stage.

So, each winery will run their own activities over the Queen’s Birthday Weekend…delicious food, wine tastings, entertainment…it will all be here to enjoy as always.
